Registration starts about 10 AM, then visiting, lunch, general meeting, picture taking, and more visiting.

Fee: $5 for pavilion, lunch supplies, coffee/tea & mailing.

Bring: Potluck dinner, salad, and/or dessert to share. Meat is NOT provided.

           Also bring your own drinks, ice chest, folding chairs, & photos to share.

Jerald David Blodgett, 81, passed away May 19, 2017 at Arbor Village nursing home, Sapulpa, OK,  He was born on April4, 1936 in Sapulpa to Sidney and Eudora (Pickens) Blodgett. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1954.  Several years after graduation, he was drafted into the Army. While in the Army, David was stationed in Fort Sill, OK, where he met Claudia Reynolds.They were married April 29, 1960. He worked for Wonder Bread until he retired.

David is survived by his daughter Sherri (Blodgett) Record, of Sapulpa, and son, Paul Blodgett and wife, Lisa, also of Sapulpa; five grandchildren, Rusty Record and Amber of Orting, WA, Andrew Record and wife, Meagan, of Glencoe, KY, Kara (Blodgett) Kerr and husband, Derrick, of Folsom, NM, Jake Blodgett, and Kelly Blodgett of Sapulpa; two step-grandchildren, Jeff Record of Mounds, Ok, and Paulette Record of Tulsa, OK; brother,  Dick Blodgett and wife, Peggy, of Sapulpa; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Eudora Blodgett; his wife, Claudia (Reynolds) Blodgett; sisters, Betty Jones and Anita Sample; brothers Jim and Sidney (Pete) Blodgett.

David was an avid fisherman who knew where the best fishing holes were and loved hunting. He was a member of Foundation Church, where he was called the “coffee man.” He was always there early, ready to serve coffee and doughnuts.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Foundation Church in Sapulpa.
